Vishandel De Graaf-Roos has a long history. Great-grandfather De Graaf had a fish wholesaler, bars and a number of botters. His two sons started fishing, which laid the foundation for the current company. Grandson Klaas and his brother took over his fathers fishing business in 1978. In 1984, the fish trade purchased a large fish hall on the Kuyperstraat in Spakenburg, where the fish was processed and smoked.De Graaf-Roos en Zonen now has sales vehicles and locations in Amsterdam, OudeKerk aan de Amstel, Zaandam, Assen, Hoorn and Hoogkarspel.
